TUITION REMINDER
We’re far enough into our season now that you should be familiar with our monthly tuition due date. It is due at your first class meeting but no later than the 10th of each month. A $15.00 late fee per family will be charged for those who pay on the 11th or after. Beginning February 1, 2010 we will no longer waive late fees. If you mail your payment and it’s postmarked by the 10th, or you call and arrange a payment date, you will not be charged this fee.
BAD WEATHER REMINDER
If we need to cancel classes due to bad weather, we will immediately post this information on the homepage of our website. We don’t always cancel classes when schools are closed, so please do not assume this is our standard procedure. In addition to posting this information on our website, we will also list our cancellations with both the Farmington and Park Hills Radio Stations. Lastly, we will send out a bulk e-mail to everyone who has a current e-mail address in our system. We do not have built in snow days this year, so classes cancelled because of bad weather will receive a make-up class at the earliest convenience of the instructor(s). Make-up classes will most likely take place on a Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday.
COSTUME ARRIVAL
We will not send costumes home with students; they can only be checked out from our office by a parent. Once you pick them up, please put them on a hanger and place them in safekeeping. Unfortunately, costumes are not going to fit each child perfectly. Children come in all shapes and sizes but generally costumes only come in three child and three adult sizes. Please do not assume your costume fits without checking with the instructor first. If alterations are needed, please take care of this by mid-February. Remind the seamstress that the recital is in May so there will need to be a little growing room but nothing clearly noticeable!
PICTURE WEEK AT HASTINGS’
March 1-4, 2010. We will pass out detailed information the week of February 8th. It’s not mandatory to purchase pictures but it’s extremely important for ALL students to be present for the group photograph.
COSTUME SUPPLY LIST
You’ll receive a costume supply list the week of February 8th. The supply list will include details about the costume, shoes, tights and the accessories you will need for picture week. We will also include information about hair and make-up.
