Class Descriptions & Attire

*All shoes and apparel can be ordered at registration through the dance supply store*

Beginning II Tumbling  (Ages 8 – 18 years)

This class is for the beginner tumbler.  In this class the student will develop basic tumbling skills which will include: handstand, forward roll, backward roll, cartwheel, round-offs and back bends.  Back and front walkovers will be introduced at this level.  Additionally, strength and conditioning skills will be taught to help progress the learning of tumbling skills.  No prior tumbling experience is necessary for this class.

 

Class Attire:  Dancers can wear any colored leotard or dancewear.  Dancewear is defined as: leotard/crop top/booty shorts/Capri pants.  Tights are optional but if worn must be, Capri, footless, or convertible.  No t-shirts, sweat pants or loose clothing is permitted.  Hair should be pulled back and secured.  Male dancers should wear shorts and shirts (not baggy) or fitted sweat clothing.
